Tradition teaches that you are a "human being," but tradition lies. You are not a human being, you are a "being human." The term "human being" implies mortality of both the human and the being; but the term "being human" implies mortality of only the human while the being lives on. I shall not go quietly into that goodnight, neither shall I go fighting or kicking and screaming. But I shall go instead with a demanding hope and anticipatory zeal the likes of which only the chosen can truly appreciate.
